OUR SERVICES
Tithing
Tithing not only inspires us to have an attitude of gratitude, but it can also discourage greed, and is a form of worship. Besides prayer and acts of service, tithing is crucial in supporting the work of the church. If it has been on your heart to connect the Word with your deeds and faith with your works, tithe today. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10 KJV
Support Christian Television
Christian television is a wonderful way to open the ears of people both near and far to hear and understand the gospel. Sow your seed into fertile soil and support ministry television. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:23 KJV
Give Clothes
Whether someone is a victim of disaster, fighting illness, or starting a new job, clothing is far more important than we might think. And when we have it in abundance, clothing can be something most of us sadly take for granted. When you donate clothes, you’re fulfilling a wide variety of needs. You can be the vessel that let’s those in need experience the love that comes from Christ.
Give Food
Not having enough to eat or the right foods to eat has many consequences, anywhere from poor health to negatively impacting education and on the job performance. Our love for Christ is evident through our love for people. Join the fight against hunger. “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink.” Matthew 25:35-36 KJV
Donate a House
Issues like homelessness, abuse, and addiction are vital parts of our society for many reasons. When families suffer from any of these, it effects crime, healthcare, education, and employment. All of these matters can lead to various things like depression, developmental delays, low self-esteem, and difficulty developing and sustaining healthy relationships. We all benefit from ending the cycle of any of these because it cost society as a whole. Imagine the blessing of having the Lord’s favor in your own time of distress because you have considered the poor.
Give Water
Clean water is an essential resource for those in poverty. It plays an important part in many facets of their livelihood. Not being able to have clean water impacts health, food safety, and hygiene. Basically, clean water helps people live longer, healthier, more productive lives. If you have a desire to connect faithfulness with your concern for those in need, a great start is donating water to help fight your community’s water crisis.
Donate to a Church
Supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ who are serving others is a true expression of our gratitude for the abundance of God’s goodness and love. When churches suffer financially, it directly impacts key missions that their communities rely on and to make matters worse, membership can decrease. Assisting a church with acquiring the necessary equipment, furniture, and building repairs helps to meet their goals of stewardship. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 KJV
Donate to a Charity
Charity is not just about supporting a cause that you connect with or a tax write-off. It’s about improving the quality of life for others in need. To love is the Lord’s greatest commandment. Suffering and death from preventable causes is such an awful tragedy. And there are many different needs, such as, medical, healthcare, orphans, and underserved families. In the Bible, charity means love. However, it also means giving. In donating to charity, imagine helping Jesus, because by serving others we are serving Him.
Support Christian Missionaries
A great man once said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” Christian missionaries are important because they spread the gospel. They teach and show the love of Christ. Their work is and should be evident long after they have gone. One of the most important things you can do is to be a prayer warrior or prayer partner for a missionary. However, providing financial support to ease travel expenses, purchasing Bibles, renting buildings, etc., helps to relieve the stress that comes with being a missionary. To support missionaries is to support God’s mission. Answer the call today!
Offering
All that we have comes from the Lord. Therefore, when we give, we’re just basically offering Him a small part of the abundance He has already graciously given to us. Of course, we know that we could never repay Him for His many blessings. However, giving is apart of our worship to Him, while helping the church complete its missions, maintain facilities, and compensate staff. If you’re looking for a way to show your gratitude, give today!
